NorthPark Center forms a big closed shopping complex in Dallas, Texas. It sits at the crossing of United States 12, also called Northwest Highway, and United States 75. Many consider it one of the best shopping spots in the Southwest, even one of the world’s best shopping experiences.
That sounds bold, but the site proves it with a vast range of stores, restaurants and fun.
The main anchor stores that currently operate in NorthPark Center are Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Dillard’s and Eataly; each of them works as a main landmark inside the complex. Also AMC NorthPark 15 Cinemas sits hear for those that want to enjoy a film.
In the mall operate more than two hundred stores and restaurants. That means a lot of area to explore. However the layout is organized well through several levels, with clear paths to the big anchor stores.
So finding your way is not as hard as it could seem at first. After some taps on the map, navigation becomes truly simple.
NorthPark Center first opened many years ago, during the middle of the sixties. Photos from that time show how important the place was for the community of Dallas from the start. There is real history here.

On the other hand, the whole size of the place can seem a bit overwhelming at first. There are simply too many things to see and do.
The complex opens most days in the morning until evening, although Sundays with a bit shorter hours. Inside you find stores like Tiffany & Co. And Hollister Co., together with a wide range of fashion stores, accessories, health and beauty stores, restaurants, bars, fast food spots, cafes and places for desserts. Jobs are also posted through the center for interested folks.
The service at Nordstrom has not always been clean, which is worth a mention. Even so, NorthPark Center stays one of the main spots in Dallas for shopping, eating and simply spending time in well designed surroundings. The mix of luxury stores, everyday stores, food, cinemas and art makes it much morethan average shopping centers.
